No, our clocks are silent.
We assemble these clocks in our workshop. Once you receive your clock simply attach your pendulum and install a battery or batteries and let the fun begin.
Yes, they run on one or two AA batteries depending on the clock model.
Had to wait a bit for this clock but....it was so worth it!!! I love everything about it. I am looking to get another one soon. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed!

The color looks a little different from the product pictures. I got a panda one before annd that one was truly silent. This however has a ticking sound from time to time so we had to stop the pendulum. Otherwise works great.
Henry the Sloth was for a baby shower. He was a hit! She loves him and the accessories. I bought the crown, birthday hat and the beanie. Henry looked great in all of them. Another friend saw him and wants one for her granddaughter. He will be loved for years to come.

When I first tried to use my clock, it would not swing as expected. After some conversation with customer service representative, they instructed on the placement of the part and sent a replacement part to help with its balancing. Their help and quick ability to troubleshoot, saved me from having to return the clock for a replacement. Very happy with the product and definitely happy with the customer service.
