No, our clocks are silent.
We assemble these clocks in our workshop. Once you receive your clock simply attach your pendulum and install a battery or batteries and let the fun begin.
Yes, they run on one or two AA batteries depending on the clock model.

My son loves all kinds of clocks. When he laid eyes on his robot clock, he smiled from ear to ear. It’s so cute, and so fun to watch. He loves that he has his very own clock in his room! Chuck, the robot, is my favorite of them all! His goofiness, color, movement, it's just all so perfect! He is proudly displayed in my living room and will sure to bring many compliments.
We have the clock set up in our Innovation Lab at the Science Center of Iowa. We use a lot of robots in our workshops and activities so Chuck the Robot has been a wonderful addition to our space.

My first experience with BirchRobot was amazing I ordered a Crush for my son’s room about four years ago and it worked and still works perfectly. Having had a wonderful experience we decided to add Chuck to our younger son’s room. He is adorable. The only reason I’m giving a 3 star review is because we also ordered two cowboy hats for the clocks, sadly we only received one. It would have been nice to receive the second hat we ordered and paid for. Now poor Crush is hatless.

We received the robot clock as a gift and after hanging it, it didn’t work! When I emailed for tips for fixing it they got right back to me with some tips. When that didn’t work they sent me a new one and a return label for the old one. Everything was seamless and Kenny was so helpful.
Also the clock is adorable and my daughter loves it!

I took a risk and bought this for my 24-year-old, and much to my relief, they LOVE it! It was hard to choose, but went with the robot. The swinging high-tops and head bolts are cute and hilarious. Highly recommend!

I purchased a Fox The Hunter clock for my newborn son's room because I liked the vibrant art style. I had no idea what an asset it would be. The bright friendly colors and simple lines of the art style grabbed my son's attention and the smooth action of the swinging tail helped calm him and get him to nap. We still bring him over to watch the clock when he's having trouble falling asleep.
I've since purchased clocks for my two nieces who absolutely adore them. Cannot recommend this product enough!

I bought (3) clocks for my family and they are all amazing. We got Chuck the Robot, Crush the Shark, and Coco the Sloth. We absolutely love the artwork and craftmanship that went into making these. I love chuck! I have him in my craft room to keep my company. I really enjoy how quiet the clocks are and how well made they are! My rooms not 100% done yet but chuck can keep track of time for me lol. Ill be buying more costumes for him too!
I was pleasantly surprised by how light the clock was. When I took it out to show my toddler he fell in love (and we had a 10 minute fight about how the clock is for looking at, and not touching). Now whenever someone visits he immediately leads them to the clock. The minimal assembly was easy as pie and it has been hanging happily since we received our package.
I’ve been trying to teach my first grader how to tell time and have been looking for a nice wall clock for his room. It’s disappointing how few options are out there when it comes to proper product for kids. Birch Robots dual pendulum clocks were exactly what I had been looking for. These are nicely made with a clear view of clock, so kids can see and learn the time from a distance. The designs and pendulum go great together and are very creatively done. I’m thinking of buying a few more for my nieces and nephews. Kenny’s direct interaction is also very considerate, great job!! Highly recommended product!
