No, our clocks are silent.
We assemble these clocks in our workshop. Once you receive your clock simply attach your pendulum and install a battery or batteries and let the fun begin.
Yes, they run on one or two AA batteries depending on the clock model.
The clock looks exactly as it does in the ad. No surprises. Also, I bought it; it was shipped and delivered in one week’s time. Nice Corgi addition to our home!

We HAD to get the Butters corgi clock to match our dog also named Butters!!
Butters is a very cute Corgi clock. We have the black Corgi and the only disappointment is its black eyes are virtually invisible on a black background. To make the eyes more visable, I had to add some white dots in the middle of the eyes to make them more noticeable.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife and she loves it! We have a tri-color corgi and a red sable corgi, so we obviously love anything corgi and this is a hit!

I can't say enough about the quality and craftsmanship of each clock. They are whimsical with features that are well thought out and fun to look at. The option of accessories is next level. Once I figured out extras could be purchased for every clock, I loaded up. Smokey the Owl is currently in my office with a witch hat on. I direct colleagues to birch robot every day! Helga the Sheep is hanging out in an 8th grade math class. The kids always comment on her cuteness. I love the clocks, accessories, and the story of Birch Robot!
