No, our clocks are silent.
We assemble these clocks in our workshop. Once you receive your clock simply attach your pendulum and install a battery or batteries and let the fun begin.
Yes, they run on one or two AA batteries depending on the clock model.
I love it-- it's beautiful! Only thing I wish is that there were instructions (not a QR code) included. As a result, I've not yet been able to figure out how to get the clock to run. I'm sure it works well, but I don't yet know because I can't just turn it on or figure out how without that QR code usage.

A couple weeks ago I received my Birch Robot pendulum clock.
