No, our clocks are silent.
We assemble these clocks in our workshop. Once you receive your clock simply attach your pendulum and install a battery or batteries and let the fun begin.
Yes, they run on one or two AA batteries depending on the clock model.

The clock is great and mounted in the bedroom of our twins! We've been looking to get a Birch Robot clock but missed a few of their pop-ups so we finally bought it online. Everything is easy to assemble and it now has a permanent place on the wall.
